Position Summary

The Cardiovascular Technologist position will support a growing Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab program, including a Heart Transplant program. The Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech) assists the physician during invasive cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. The Cardiovascular Technologist primarily specializes in the monitoring of physiologic data received during cardiac catheterization. They are may also assist as a scrub assistant and provide support for radiologic procedures.  The CV Tech performs as a functionally independent member of a high performance work team.  Our Cath Lab technology is state of the art with patient dose tracking, RaySafe dose tracking for Cath Lab team members, 3-D rotational angiography, and anatomical overlay capabilities. The Cardiovascular technologist is responsible for taking call.  When on call, once called, there will be a 30 minute reporting time required.



Qualifications

Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Technology program. 2-3 years experience preferred. Pediatric experience desired. RCIS eligible preferred. BLS required.
