    The Preschool Educator is responsible for implementing and coordinating the daily activities of preschool students by performing such duties as planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, observing and assessment of student progress, safety and supervision of students, maintaining program records, communication with families, teaming with colleagues, and participating in ongoing professional development.

    • BA degree in Early Childhood Education or related field or
    • completion of Child Development Associates (CDA) preferred, or two or more years of experience in a licensed and/or NAEYC accredited preschool program and current enrollment in college-level early childhood degree program.
    Salary: starting salary per Educator contract
    Program Hours: 6:30 am- 6 pm

    Work Day: 8 hour/Day- shift will be between program hours

    • Organize and provide developmentally appropriate learning environment; plans and implements curriculum and education for preschool students.
    • Provides activities and opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and problem solving appropriate to the developmental levels and learning styles of children.
    • Plans and prepares classroom setting; oversees safety and supervision of children; provides a supportive environment in which children can learn and practice appropriate and acceptable individual and group behaviors.
    • Builds positive relationships with families; maintains open and cooperative communication with parents and encourages their involvement in the program and supporting each child's family relationships.
    • Compiles individual assessments of each child's development; completes daily tasks such as child attendance and related reports.
    • Team with coworkers to create a learning environment that engages and enhances the spirit of every child.
    • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
